世間は狭い？

＜okatakeの日記＞http://d.hatena.ne.jp/okatake/ の11/14分「司馬漬けの日々」を読んで、巌南堂の西塚定人さんのことを知る。

私の隣に座っている直属の上司は、学生時代にサッカーをやっていて、今も学生チームのＧＭをしたりしているので、数日前に「元Ｊリーガーで司法試験に受かった人がいた」という話題を振ったときのように、「元Ｊリーガーで神保町で古本屋をやっている人がいますよ」と話しかけた。

すると、間髪いれずに「西塚君だろう」という答えが返ってきた。しかも「うちのチームでＧＫコーチをやってもらっている」と言うではないか。私が知り合いというわけではないが、世間は、やっぱり狭い？ チームのユニフォームにプリントされている広告は、西塚さんを通して、中村俊輔選手から出してもらっているとのこと。

この話を＜okatakeの日記＞のコメント欄に書かせてもらおうと、入力して、投稿ボタンを押したところ、画面が変な動きをして、私のコメントが消えてしまった。よく、見ると、コメント欄そのものが消えてしまっている。11/17分の「こ、声が出ない！」の追加に書かれているような事情でコメント欄を削除したとのこと。まさに、岡崎さんが、コメント欄を削除したときと、ほぼ同時に投稿したようだ。

コメント欄がなくなったのは、さびしいが、岡崎さんの「このブログで疲れたくないんです」という気持ももっとも。ブログ自体は続けられるようで、さびしさの中にも一安心。

前回のブログ以降に、高橋哲哉「靖国問題」（ちくま新書）、北尾トロ「気分はもう、裁判長」（理論社 よりみちパン！セ）、ロバート・Ｊ・ソウヤー「フラッシュフォワード」（ハヤカワ文庫）を読んだ。

ＳＦはめっきり読まなくなって、読むのは、年に2・3冊。作家でいうと、ソウヤー、イーガン、ウィリスぐらい。ソウヤーは、ＳＦを読まない人にもとっつきやすいと思う。特にミステリ・ファンには。未読な方は是非どうぞ。
